Medicare For All Indiana Monthly Meeting
Zoom

Medicare_For_All.jpg
This month’s special guest Andy Ruff, the Democratic candidate for US House of Representatives for the 9th district. He is a strong supporter of Medicare for All. Medicare for All Indiana does not support candidates but supports ideas, and we welcome the chance to hear from a candidate supporting our mission.

Also a shout out for Hoosier Action https://www.hoosieraction.org/take-action. They held a virtual press conference on 6/24 and continue to get their message out supporting healthcare access, protecting HIP 2.0, and pushing back against Indiana Attorney General Curtis Hill and his outrageous support of the lawsuit to end the Affordable Care Act, which would end the Indiana HIP Medicaid expansion and the protections for people with pre-existing conditions, in the middle of a pandemic! Sign their online petition.
Plus further discussion about the idea that came up last month to work with our local radio station WFHB to support programming that might include interviews/updates with local activists such as Hoosier Action and Medicare For All Indiana as well as with local providers such as Monroe County's new Federally Qualified Health Care Center and navigators from Indiana's South Central Community Action Program.

During this moment of crisis, we must do everything in our power to transform our political system and take power back from Trump and the corporate elite who have allowed systemic racism, income inequality and environmental collapse to destroy America.
